This is what man sees ... Beyond his flesh, beyond his pleasures, etc. he does not see.
What is the Ascension? What is celebrated? What do you remember? People do not know this. And due to the fact that they do not know this, they score a low grade, but the fact that they do not want to know this, it nullifies them.
The Ascension of the Lord is the penultimate affair of the Second Coming. For one more event remains for this whole affair, in which God came into the world for mankind. Which event? "He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead." And that's where the whole affair of the incarnate economy ends.
The Ascension of the Lord took place forty days after the Resurrection of Christ. So on the fortieth day He took His Disciples to Bethany and there while He was blessing them, a cloud began to lift Him up to Heaven and He departed in front of them and went and sat at the right hand of God the Father, as the Protomartyr Stephen revealed to us when he was stoned.
And Christ will come again one day and woe to those who will not be all right and will not endure His justice.
Of course some will not catch the Second Coming. Because they will have gone faster to meet Christ.
The place where our Christ stood and Ascended is held by Muslims, who forbid us to enter. It is a space of 20 square meters and inside there is the sole of the left foot of our Christ. You will hang your head down to kiss it and it will have the aroma of the Holy Sepulcher.
