Sikinos is among the Cyclades Islands of Greece. There one can find a picturesque little chapel dedicated to the Second Coming of Christ, the only shrine with such a dedication in the Orthodox world. The annual feast of this chapel is celebrated on Meatfare Sunday, because on this day the Gospel reading of the Divine Liturgy concerns the Last Judgment.
The Chapel of the Second Coming is located 800 meters from the village of Chorio. The road that leads to the chapel starts next to the café Iliachtida. At first it starts as a small paved road that goes for 400 meters, but at this point it stops and a car cannot continue. The worst part is that the reversal is also difficult, so it is recommended doing the whole route on foot.
